The Westwood Online Game Development Club was formed to help the students of Westwood online learn beyond the scope of the class room. Our goal here is to simply go beyond class room work and start developing games!
We try to encourage students to get involved with the gaming community as soon as they start their education, not just as a video game player; but now as a future game developer. We strived to help students understand every process of the game development, from conceptual design to polish and testing. We encourage team work between artists, designers and programmers encouraging people to understand every aspect of game development, not just the one they’re studying!
We try and get a family feeling within the club, everyone helping everyone, sharing knowledge and ideas. Westwood has been very supportive of our endeavors as a student run club and we feel that we haven’t let them or our members down in anyway. We’re always expanding and changing as time goes on, the more we learn the better we make our club for future students.
